Three new resistant varieties registered in Italy
With Ministerial Decree of 9 June 2020, published in the Official Gazette No. 152 of 17 June 2020, three new resistant varieties have been registered in the National Register of Vine Varieties fungal diseases: Cabernet Blanc (n ° 916), Cabertin (n ° 917) and Pinotin (n ° 918).
The applications for registration were submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture last fall by Vitis Rauscedo that today welcomes the news with great satisfaction. A proposal born from the close collaboration between Vitis Rauscedo and the German nursery Rebschule Freytag for the registration and classification in Italy of new resistant varieties, so-called PIWI.
